Of all the groups played on Radio Caroline in the 1970’s, FOCUS is, without a doubt, the most notable Dutch group widely known outside the Netherlands. This band has created excitement all over the world with their unique sound and musical approach. The two main musicians in the band were flutist/ keyboard player /singer Thjis Van Leer and guitarist Jan Akkermann. Regularly played on Radio Caroline and still touring today,this is the band at their very best featuring the original and very talented line up.
